“Chromatic”, released by Pataca Discos in 2011, shows a band with a perfectly defined musical language. Their rich vocabulary translates on the diversity of the twelve songs that make the album: from the danceable beats of “Over the Sun, Under the Water” to the beauty and grandeur of the closing track “An Ending”: from the popish sweetness of “A while can be a long time” to the almost tribal dance mood of “In the end we start again”: from the misterious “Glimpse” to the contagious “I’ve been lost”.

For a debut album of an almost unknown band “Chromatic” was quite a success. After remarkable critics, including blogs and/or international websites, several concerts and important festivals followed: The Great Escape (Brighton), South by Southwest (Austin), Optimus Primavera Sound (Porto).

On the spring of 2012 Pedro Ramos' (Radio Radar) challenge YCWCB to play the ‘Velvet Undergound & Nico’ album on one of his 'Black Balloon' sessions at the Lux. The experience repeated a few months latter on Guimarães (Primavera Club). In March 2013 YCWCB recorded four of the ‘Velvet Undergound & Nico’'s songs for the Live@15A series.
